John Allen Lynch, 67, of Pana, IL died Friday, February 10 at his residence in rural Pana. Cremation rites have been accorded. Allen was born Thursday, April 14 1949, in Pana to John “Jack” and Helen (nee Einig) Lynch. Allen attended elementary school at Sacred Heart in Pana and graduated from Pana High School with the class of 1967. He attended college at the University of Illinois and worked as a carpenter. He is survived by wife Debby of Pana; sisters Debbie (spouse Pete) Rann of Olney and Patty (spouse Mark) Hansen of Decatur; brothers George (spouse Linda) Lynch of Edwardsville and Terry of St Cloud, MO; brother-in-law John Sanderfer of Springfield; daughters Amber Lynch of Arizona and Melissa Wolfe (spouse Demas Johnson) of Decatur; grandchildren Jonathan, Nicole, Megan, Michael, and Joseph; and 9 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Helen “Mugg” Sanderfer. Memorials may be made to HDSA Illinois Chapter, PO Box 1883 Arlington Heights, IL 60006-1883.
