Anita Carlene Corley, 68, of Shelbyville, IL, formerly of Herrick, died Wednesday, August 7. Carlene was born in Herrick on May 5, 1945 the daughter of L G “Buster” and Ima Pope Corley. She was retired from a life-long work for Wallace/Carroll Funeral Home in Herrick. There will be no services at her request. The family requests no flowers. Memorials may be made to the Food Bank in Shelbyville. The body will be cremated; arrangements by Kennedy & Sons Wallace-Carroll Funeral Home in Herrick. Survivors: sister Genelle Horn(husband-Chester Horn deceased) of Moweaqua; brother, Dennis and his wife Edna Corley of Shelbyville; nieces: Patty and her husband Steve Jordan of Moweaqua, Renda and her husband Bill Stalter of Overland Park, KS, Kelly and her husband Dennis Zindel of Moweaqua, Kerry Spears of Moweaqua, Tammy and her husband Dan Veselsky of Brownsburg IN; Tarita and her husband Butch Fry of Shelbyville; Traci and her husband Richard Niccolls of Grand Prairie TX; and one nephew Curtis Horn and his wife Debbie of Waynesville, NC; 16 great-nieces and nephews; Special friends-Jack Hart of Herrick, Joanne England of Ramsey, Lovane and Randall Henderson of Herrick John and Linda Miller of Herrick.
