Steve Rauch, 64 of Herrick, Illinois died Sunday, July 24, 2022 at 7:10 AM at his residence in Herrick. Funeral Services will be Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 1:00 PM in Herrick Baptist Church with Pastor Jay Huddleston officiating. Visitation will also be Thursday, July 28, 2022 in Herrick Baptist Church beginning at 11:00 AM until time of Service. Burial will be in Myers Cemetery, Herrick Township, Shelby County, Illinois. Steve Rauch was born Friday, October 11, 1957 in Pana, Illinois the son of Richard and Shirley (Maiden Name: Bechtel) Rauch. He was raised in Herrick attending schools there. Steve worked at various local factories and later in maintenance at Walmart. Steve Rauch is survived by his Father: Richard Rauch of Herrick; Daughters: Christina Rauch of Herrick; Lucinda Blackwell (Nathan) of Shelbyville; and Samantha Allen of Cowden; Sons: Lucas “Luke” Rauch (Jade) of Herrick and Cody Rauch (Fiancee: Sierra Dean) of Ramsey; 11 Grandchildren: Christian Rauch, Alaynnah Rauch, Kaylee Phegley, Hunter Whalen, Jason Johnson, Payton Johnson, Dylan Allen, Paige Barrett, Samuel Rauch, Matthew Rauch, and Marlie Rauch; 2 Brothers: Mike Rauch (Dixie) and Mark Rauch (Kelly) both of Herrick; and Sister: Shelley Ray (Stanley) of Hinton, Illinois. He is preceded in death by his Mother: Shirley who died in March, 2015.
